Hi. My name is Dr. Maribelle Verdiales and I’m a Gynecologist by trade. But like you, I wear more than one hat.

First off, I am a woman. I am a mother of five beautiful daughters, ages 11 to 19. Being a mom has been the most challenging, rewarding and humbling experience of my life. It is no joke when people say “ it takes a village to raise a baby.”  I have been through many successful lessons, like I like to call them. From financial struggles, to divorce, to even being a widow, I have been through it all. These experiences help me relate to my fellow women in a totally different way than my training would allow. I became a naturopath, at first trying to keep my second husband alive as he was fighting cancer. However, I quickly understood through this journey the importance of the intertwined relationship of mind, body and spirit health. That launched a deep desire to become a holistic women’s health specialist and a wellness coach. I wanted to share with my patients what I was learning at home. I often say: “We are all in this together.” And that is such a deep truth. Being a woman is beautiful and challenging all at the same time.

In ancient cultures, women worked together and helped each other to run the village. It does take a village to raise a child, and it does take a village to navigate the seasons of womanhood. We have lost some of that camaraderie, and it is truly unfortunate. We go through some major changes as we evolve, including puberty, marriage, pregnancy, breastfeeding, motherhood, menopause and beyond. I had to do it alone, and looking back, it was unnecessary. Deep in my spirit, I know we need to retake that loving sisterhood. I want to create that space for you. I want to invite you to share the love and your lessons, such that they may help the ladies that might be going through something similar. Maybe it is marriage problems, maybe it is the death of a loved one, maybe it is breastfeeding. I know that that last one kicked my behind with my first child. I felt so inadequate. Here I was, a gynecologist that could not get breastfeeding right! But, it didn’t have to be that way…..

Let’s be part of the solution. I invite you to open up, not only to share, but also for you.

I want to reintroduce myself as a healer and someone who can relate to YOU. How will you reintroduce yourself? Let me help. I am willing to meet you where you are and to create a space for women to be their authentic selves–to embrace who you are inside. That’s right, I mean the no-makeup, no photo filter version of YOU. Let’s come together as a sisterhood to celebrate each other and learn from one another.

My 20 years of experience in the field of women’s health and wellness and the stories of my patients show me that what I get to do every day is special. I get to help women unleash the best versions of themselves. And because society relies on women as pillars of strength, resilience, and beauty, the trickle-down effect of this is HUGE.

How will I help YOU?
I will be hosting live chats on Facebook and YouTube to answer all of your most pressing female health questions. I will also be sharing the stories of women across the globe to help you relate and grow. I will be creating a sisterhood of patients and women who need each other and know where to turn.

Walk alongside me on this journey to a better YOU. Let’s be real with one another. Let’s talk about the hard stuff. Let’s dig in. Follow me for answers to the hardest questions.

Many times we are scared to ask our doctor, we search online for answers, and we don’t want to bring “embarrassing” topics up with our friends for fear of judgment. This stops now.

I’m here to create a sisterhood – not only in my practice in Monroe, Georgia, but also online. Join me. Ask your questions and stay tuned for the answers. Let’s start this journey to a better you, together. You can count on time with me on Facebook Live and YouTube Live the first and third Mondays of the month. I also host fertility chats with CNY Fertility every Wednesday on my channels. Want to meet me to say hello or ask the questions digging at you on your personal health journey? Join our Sisterhood on Facebook and Instagram. See you soon, ladies!
